How do I remove brackets or quotes around list items?

Set the left and right wrapper text. The tool removes matching text only at each item’s boundaries, rather than replacing occurrences inside the item.

How do I remove several layers of wrappers?

Enable the multiple-level option. The tool repeatedly removes matching boundary wrappers until none remain on that side.

Does unwrapping also trim spaces?

Only when trimming is enabled. Wrapper removal happens before trimming, so spaces outside a wrapper can prevent the wrapper from matching.
