How do I split a list into equal groups?

Select a symbol or regular expression that separates the items. Set the chunk size, then choose the separators inside and between groups.

What happens when the last list group is too short?

The last group keeps its remaining items by default. Enable padding and supply a padding value when every group needs the same number of items.

Can I add brackets around each group?

Yes. Set the opening and closing wrappers separately from the item separator. These wrappers add text around each group without changing the items themselves.

Limits

List Chunker cannot infer a delimiter when the selected separator is empty.
List Chunker: Padding can add values to the final group, so verify that those values are acceptable.
List Chunker: The operation runs in the browser and does not need a network service.
