How do I extract selected pages from a PDF?

Should page ranges refer to printed page labels or file positions?

Use the document’s page positions for selection. Printed labels can differ because of covers or introductory pages, so verify the output visually.

Does splitting a PDF convert pages into images?

No. It produces a PDF output. Use the PDF-to-PNG tool when you need rendered image files instead.

Can I split a PDF online without converting its pages to images?

Yes. PDF splitting creates PDF output from selected document pages. Use it when you need a smaller page selection. Check the page order and open the downloaded file before sharing it. Splitting by pages does not guarantee a particular file size.
