CipherSaber2 Encryption uses RC4-based CipherSaber2 encryption to process the supplied input. It prepends the generated IV to encrypted bytes. Repeating the same input can produce different output.

It prepends the generated IV to encrypted bytes. Repeating the same input can produce different output. Processing runs in the browser for this catalog category, so the result depends on the supplied bytes and settings. Processing runs in the browser.

This tool performs the selected algorithm locally; it does not provide application trust or key management.

Instructions

  1. Provide text or data for this tool.
  2. Keep the first 10 output bytes with the ciphertext. This applies to CipherSaber2 Encryption.
  3. Pass the complete byte result to CipherSaber2 Decrypt with the same key and rounds. This applies to CipherSaber2 Encryption.

Example

Input: Use bytes for "abc", Key "public-test" in UTF8, and Rounds 20.

Settings: CipherSaber2 Encryption: Rounds controls repeated key scheduling, not a block-cipher mode. The operation creates a random 10-byte IV automatically.

Result: It prepends the generated IV to encrypted bytes. Repeating the same input can produce different output. Processing runs in the browser for this catalog category, so the result depends on the supplied bytes and settings.

Limits

  • CipherSaber2 Encryption: Do not remove the IV prefix when saving output.
  • CipherSaber2 Encryption: This legacy RC4 construction does not authenticate the ciphertext.
