Hashing & Checksums
All Checksums Generator
Compute 176 CRC, Adler, and Fletcher checksums of text at once. Filter by bit width to identify an unknown CRC variant.
This tool runs open-source code from CyberChef by GCHQ (Apache License 2.0). See open-source credits.
The generator applies its CRC, Adler, and Fletcher variants to the same input.
The result contains one checksum per line, with algorithm names when Include names is enabled.
- Identify the CRC-16 variant in a Modbus, XMODEM, or vendor serial protocol.

Compare checksum variants for 123456789
Input: 123456789
Settings: Length (bits) 32; Include names on
Result: 30 lines, one per 32-bit algorithm. They include Adler-32: 091e01de, CRC-32: cbf43926, CRC-32/C: e3069283, CRC-32/MPEG-2: 0376e6e7, and Fletcher-32: df09d509.
Use a second input to distinguish algorithms that happen to match on one sample.
Filter checksum widths and recognize aliases
- Enter the source text.
- Choose Length (bits) to filter by checksum width.
- Keep Include names enabled when comparing candidate algorithms.
- Text input does not decode hex or load file bytes.
- Equal widths do not make checksum algorithms interchangeable.
- Checksums detect accidental changes but do not authenticate data.
