URL Encoder and Decoder
Percent-encode text as UTF-8 or decode %XX escapes. Choose whether + means a space and whether URL punctuation such as & and = is encoded.

Encoding represents selected bytes with percent escapes. Decoding interprets those escapes as text.
The result contains the encoded or decoded string.

Encode spaces and separators in query text
Input: name=Jane Doe&city=New York
Settings: Encode, Encode all special chars off
Result: name=Jane%20Doe&city=New%20York
With Encode all special chars on, = also becomes %3D and & becomes %26.
Choose the direction and avoid double encoding
- Choose Encode or Decode.
- Enable Encode all special chars for a query value or path segment.
- For decoding, set Treat "+" as space according to the source format.
- The current encoder also escapes unreserved punctuation. Avoid applying it to a complete address.
- With Encode all special chars off, existing percent signs and plus signs can produce unintended server input.
- Invalid UTF-8 triggers a Latin-1 fallback across the decoded input.
- Encoding does not hide sensitive data from URL logs.
