Questions

How is XXTEA different from TEA and XTEA?

XXTEA processes variable-length blocks through its own algorithm. This operation exposes a key but does not expose TEA-style Mode, Padding, or IV controls. Use matching XXTEA inputs and conventions on both sides.

What does the XXTEA key field represent?

The key field represents key bytes in the selected encoding. It does not derive a key from a memorable password. A hexadecimal spelling and literal text of that spelling supply different bytes.

Why is XXTEA output not readable text?

Ciphertext is binary data, so text display can contain nonprinting values. Preserve the complete output in a byte-safe representation for the inverse operation. XXTEA completion does not verify a sender or a message authentication tag.
