This tool runs open-source code from CyberChef by GCHQ (Apache License 2.0). See open-source credits.

RGBA Extractor performs decoded pixel-channel inspection on supplied binary or media data. It returns flattened channel values from decoded image pixels, not the image container's compressed bytes.

It returns flattened channel values from decoded image pixels, not the image container's compressed bytes. This result runs in the browser for this catalog category. Processing runs in the browser.

Embedded-file analysis reports or copies byte ranges; it does not make extracted content safe or attribute its source.

Instructions

  1. Provide file or files for this tool.
  2. Use the one-pixel sample before inspecting a larger image. This applies to RGBA Extractor.
  3. Keep image dimensions with the flat channel list when reconstructing pixel positions. This applies to RGBA Extractor.

Example

Input: Use a one-pixel opaque red PNG, comma Delimiter, and Include Alpha enabled; expect 255,0,0,255.

Settings: RGBA Extractor: Delimiter separates individual numeric channel values. Include Alpha retains the fourth channel; disabling it produces RGB triples.

Result: It returns flattened channel values from decoded image pixels, not the image container's compressed bytes.

Limits

  • RGBA Extractor: The output does not retain EXIF metadata, container structure, or a color-profile validation report.
  • RGBA Extractor: Disabling alpha removes opacity values from the exported list.
